Two years ago, in 2015, I got injured while playing a match of ultimate frisbee and got rushed to the hospital. My left knee was injured so my ability to walk properly was affected.
After various X-rays, MRI scans and other tests the doctor concluded that the bone was intact but the main ligament, the ACL, was completely torn and that it also affected other parts of the knee that surround it. For over a year, my knee was very unstable and I was even unable to run.
The doctor said that I would need to undergo a surgery to replace the ACL and repair everything else. This would mean adding some metal to keep everything together. I agreed to do it and so they gave me a date for the surgery.
I went for it but at the end, they had to cancel the operation because they said one of the preliminary tests came out positive. That same day, I went to my GP for it and took the same test and it came out negative, meaning that there was nothing wrong. Just to be sure, I was then sent for further tests in the hospital and they all came out negative, so I was given a second date for the surgery. I then started praying for God’s guidance and healing.
On the second day for the surgery, as I was about to leave my house, the hospital called me to postpone it again due to lack of beds in the hospital. Once they said that I instantly thought that God was trying to tell me not to do it, so before the end of the phone call, I told them to erase my name from their list because I would not be needing the surgery any longer. By faith, I believed that the God who made me was able to replace any damaged thing in my body. Before long, I was able to walk normally and also run and the injury became a background thought.
In early August 2017, the pain in my knee returned, so much that I had to wear a support bandage on it and I was unable to twist my knee or turn directions with my feet on the ground.
Then I heard of the Charismatic crusade coming up with Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka on the theme ‘Power For Transformation’. So I attended every day of the event with the hope for transformation in my life. Thursday was the healing day and the topic was “Jesus the Healer”. While Father Mbaka was praying for healing, I kept my hand on my knee and all of a sudden, I felt something like an electric charge go through my knee. I then stood up and miraculously my knee had stopped hurting. I moved my leg and turned it and I felt no pain at all and since then, I have been walking normally and I haven’t worn the support bandage.
Praise the Lord!

UK immigration document regularised

I have been in the United Kingdom for over seventeen years and I have been having a huge challenge to have my visa regularised. For some years now, I have been attending the weekly Monday fellowship at the God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal prayer group and trusting the Lord for a miracle in my life.
Just recently, I went for an appeal on my case and the presiding judge ruled in my favour and my permanent stay was granted.
Praise the Lord!!!
Healed of hearing problems

For many years I have been having problems hearing with my two ears. Despite using several hearing aids, I still find it difficult to hear.
However, I received my healing during a healing ministration by Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka at the August 2017 crusade organised by the God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
Alleluia, I can now hear at least 75% without the use of hearing aids.
I am so grateful to God.
Healed from knee problems - Mrs Gladys Amadigwe
I had an accident about two years ago, which caused a tear and it damaged the ligament of my right knee. For the past two years, I had been in severe pain despite taking various pain medications. On 15th August 2017, I underwent a surgery to repair the ligament and I was given two clutches afterwards to aid my walking. I was advised that it would take a minimum of about six months due to the severe pain after the surgery.
However, I stopped using the clutches on 24th August 2017 (just 9 days from the surgery), after receiving divine healing at the annual crusade organised by God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal prayer group.
To God be the Glory.
Visa Extension Breakthrough
Visa Extension Breakthrough
I am Ezeh Chinenye Matthew-Emmanuel. A native of Orba in Udenu L.G.A. of Enugu State, Nigeria and currently a PhD student in the Department of Software Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China.
In August 2017, I learnt about the God is Able Catholic Prayer Group Crusade taking place in London with Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka in attendance. So I sent an email to the group with my prayer request stating: I arrived China in September, 2016 to commence my PhD research. Barely two months after my arrival in China, I was struck with an undisclosed ailment that has left me shaking, trembling and my entire body vibrating up till this moment as I am writing this email. I had gone to different hospitals but nothing was found medically wrong with me. A Neurologist examined me and confirmed that I was ok medically as she could not discern what the issue was with me.
At this point, I understood that it was a spiritual affliction. I have prayed and fasted about this matter and I must confess that the grace of God has been sustaining me all these months. I reside very far from home and would have easily gone to crusades or adoration programs to obtain deliverance. This affliction disturbs me each time I want to read my books or while I am in class or doing something serious, my entire body will be vibrating vigorously and I will suddenly fall asleep.
My plea was that as Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka will be conducting the crusade in London, my prayers will be answered. I equally plead that the Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group remembers me during their prayer meetings.
I also plead for divine assistance for me to continue my PhD research here in China. I applied for scholarship but unfortunately I missed the scholarship. I had every opportunity to get the scholarship but my name was not released as one of the beneficiaries. I was due to pay my tuition fee and accommodation by September, but I had no hope of getting funds from anywhere. Which implied that my visa may not be renewed if my fess was not paid and must leave China on or before the last day of September, 2017.
I asked that you continue to remember me in your prayers for divine favour of sponsorship or grants to enable me complete my studies in China. After the email was sent, I immediately received a response back from a brother. Who encouraged me to keep believing that God is able to do all things and assured me of their prayers.
Towards the end of September, my visa was extended for the next six months. I cannot explain how it happened. I was so disturbed about this because I needed to pay my school fees before I could be given the necessary documents for the extension. Miraculously, my Supervisor asked me to go to my school’s international office to collect the documents. When I got there, I was told that my supervisor had spoken on my behalf to some directors in the office about my tuition fee. After much deliberation, they agreed to extend my visa for six months and also put me forward for consideration of offering me a full tuition fee waiver to continue my studies in China!
God is really faithful and I know He will perfect my health also.

Yoke of poverty broken in my family
I reside in Lagos, Nigeria with my children. Towards the end of December 2017, I saw the information posted on Facebook by God is able Catholic Charismatic Renewal group, London on a-31 days praying program coming up in January 2018. So I decided I was going to take part in the program to see if God will provide answer to my long awaited breakthrough.
Life has been so difficult for my family. It has been tough to the extent that affording two meals in my house was a great difficulty. My three children have dropped out of school for over a year as we could not afford their school fees. My husband borrowed money from people to travel to Dubai in search of greener pastures but life has been so difficult for him over there. Sometimes when he rings me, he complains of how he sometimes go hungry without food.
But just when I started this 31 days praying program on the 1st of January, he rang me on the 3rd and asked that I should intensify my prayers for him as it looks like God was about to favour him through a Chinese business man over there who has told him to come and take goods on credit from him and to only bring back the cost of the goods after sales while my husband keeps the whole profits.
Just like a dream, my husband has commenced the business and now has several number of his friends here in Nigeria who have sent him money to purchase goods for them. At this moment, all the borrowed money have all been paid back, I have registered my children back to school, bought varieties of food for our daily feeding and still have money in my bank account to depend on. I am absolutely so speechless!

Healed of Fibroid
Please join me in thanking God for His faithfulness.
In May 2014, I was diagnosed with a very large size of fibroid (61mm to 71mm). As years went by, the fibroid continued to grow bigger up to the size of a six-month old pregnancy. I had an MRI scan in February 2018 and the Consultant decided to carry out an open myomectomy on me.
However, about a month thereafter, we agreed with the Consultant to have another uterine artery embolization again. On the day I was scheduled for the procedure, I went in but to my amazement, I was told by one of the Consultants that the surgery will not take place. Then I asked him why? To my greatest shock, he said, “the MRI scan results we carried out recently, showed that there is no fibroid found”! Again, he said, “Ovaries are unremarkable”!
I was discharged from the clinic and thereafter sent a confirmation letter that I am free from fibroid! I thank the Lord of the God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal, London who has put this great testimony on my lips and I am also grateful to the prayer group for all their prayers.

Victory Over Immigration Captivity
In March 2016, I made an application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom to enable me complete my Doctorate Degree. This application would also qualify me and my family for permanent residency in the United Kingdom, based on the number of years I have spent in the country.
Our challenge started when the application was refused in September 2016, with no right of appeal. I was instructed in the refusal letter that I must leave the country immediately with my family, otherwise, risk arrest and forceful deportation from the country.
I immediately remembered the word of God in Psalm 24:1 which says; “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein”.
Following the refusal, my wife and I both lost our jobs. Life became so harsh at the time. But as members of the God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal in London (Nigerian Catholic Chaplaincy); I have always known that God is indeed more than able to deliver us. The family love, support and prayer from the prayer group helped me and my family with the strength we needed to confront the challenge we were faced with.
We contacted our solicitors, and after thorough analysis of the case, they initially accepted to take up the matter as our legal representative. However, after our pre action protocol was swiftly dismissed by the Home Office, our solicitor’s decided not to further represent us, stating that the case is totally without merit based on their judgment and professional assessment of our application.
I accepted the solicitor’s decision to discontinue with our case with great disappointment. At this time, we had barely two weeks before the three months deadline given to us elapses. But by divine providence, one of our sister’s in my ministry referred me to a brother who is also a member of our prayer group, who is a solicitor. I met with him and narrated the story so far to him, and he immediately agreed to act as our legal representative.
We filed in our case two days before the deadline. The paper hearing was dismissed as a case without merit and was given nine days to fill in for an oral hearing. The oral application for the judicial review was made and the case was scheduled to be heard in May 2017. On the hearing day, the judge ruled in our favour and granted permission for us to challenge the decision to refuse our application. In June 2017, the Home office approached us for settlement so that we don’t have to go for a full hearing in court. However, the negotiation was withdrawn because we suddenly learnt that the case we won previously has been struck out on the grounds that we failed to make payment for the case continuation fee. This came as a shock to us as we were unaware of any letter requesting for payment. However, we thereafter learnt from our Solicitor that his secretary actually received the letter but failed to bring it to his attention until the second letter stating that the matter has been struck out was received.
We immediately made a case requesting for the matter to be reinstated, and to God be the glory our request was granted. The case was reinstated accordingly and the settlement negotiation with the Home Office resumed. In the end, we reached an agreement to settle the matter out of court. In the settlement, they accepted to reinstate our right to work and to withdraw the old decision to refuse our application. We signed the consent order in October 2017 and the matter was withdrawn as agreed.
However, in February 2018, we received a decision letter Home Office and surprisingly, our application was refused again, though with a right to appeal this time around. We therefore appealed against the latest refusal decision immediately prior to the 14 days deadline given to us. But after waiting for quite a while without receiving the usual acknowledgement letter, I made contact to the court and surprisingly learnt that there was no record of our appeal. At this time, we were already out of time to put in an appeal. We however went ahead and put forward the appeal with supporting evidence indicating the fax records which they claimed was not received. But the Lord prevailed and the court decided to accept our appeal.
A notice of hearing was sent to us in April 2018 and the case was scheduled to be heard on 8 November 2018. We have been praying for victory all the while and continued to put together various evidence to support our case with a view of sending them to the court in September.
While we were making plans on this, then came the 2018 annual crusade of our prayer group (God is Able Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Nigeria Catholic Chaplaincy) which was titled “Destiny Encounter”. My wife and I got connected with the title of the crusade and we were preparing to encounter something new in our destiny, especially recording victory in our immigration matter coming up in November. The crusade commenced on 27 August 2018 – 01 September 2018. Prayers were offered on behalf of different intentions including immigration challenges and our guest minister from Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Cyriacus Offor a.k.a (Odommiri Bethsaida) made some powerful prophetic utterances that related to my challenge and by faith, we claimed our victory on the case while looking forward to November when the case was scheduled to take place.
But to our greatest amazement, on the last day of the crusade (1 September 2018), as I was preparing to attend the program, I received a letter from the Home office. The content of the letter left me in absolute disbelieve. It reads: “I am writing with regards to the above named who has an outstanding appeal before the First Tier Immigration Tribunal. The matter has been reviewed ahead of scheduled hearing with consideration including grounds of appeal, and any other evidence submitted, as well as developments that occurred between the decision being issued and the awaiting of the appeal hearing.
In the Light of the review, it has been concluded that the decision to refuse is no longer appropriate and the immigration decision is therefore withdrawn. Instructions have been issued for Leave to Remain/Appropriate status to be granted”
The letter reduced me to tears of joy as I do not know that it would happen this way and that I would indeed encounter my destiny during our 2018 annual crusade!!!

God Can Do All Things
My first testimony happened in December 2017 through to January 2018.
Our grandma passed away in November 2017. My dad started making plans for the burial and our travelling back home (Nigeria) was part of the plan. During the course of the plan, my dad received a call from my uncle advising him not to come back. He explained that my brother at home fell at the wrong side of business and is in a whole lot of debt and there is a possibility that his creditors might kidnap or torture either of us as a ransom for the debt if we were to come home.
The panic was so much that my dad began to consider not travelling. I was so vexed in my spirit and I went into prayers. I reminded the Lord of his promise to protect his children.
During the 2017 God is Able community’s Christmas love feast, we were asked to pray for those that will be travelling for the Christmas celebration. After the prayers, my Spirit was merry and peaceful at the same time. Afterwards, I advised my dad that we have to travel as I am confident that we will be fine. But he wouldn’t listen to me, obviously I am one of the youngest in the house! But after a while, he decided to listen to me. And as God had planned it, we travelled; grandma’s burial was a huge success and we also enjoyed the whole Christmas celebration and, in the end, we returned back to London without any problem, the Lord protected us!
My second testimony happened during the 2018 God is Able Catholic Charismatic crusade titled, ‘Destiny Encounter’. On the fourth day of the program, my younger sister went to register for her second year in college. She was rejected on the ground that her visa will expire before the end date of the course. She felt very sad and disappointed. I encouraged her to attend the crusade where the God of all possibilities can change the story for her (she was not able to attend the first three days due to her school/job).
She eventually attended that evening’s program and she felt highly blessed by the event. The next day she went to school with a support letter written by our dad, and amazingly, the school administrator apologised to her, got her registered on the course, with her student identity card and school pack immediately given to her!
I hope these testimonies will strengthen someone’s faith that nothing is too difficult for God to do.
To God be the Glory!!!
